OVERVIEW: The Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT (OE) is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.The tire has exceptional summer traction and it grips the road well in dry and wet weather thanks to the tread pattern that features slanted-slug shoulder tread block sipes. The tire, however, is not suited to be driven in winter weather as it loses its excellent traction in the colder winter temperatures. The three wide circumferential grooves avoid dangerous hydroplaning by evacuating water from below the tire footprint. As a result, the tire is safe to use in all summer conditions.This tire is a run flat model, which means that the tire can withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in the case of air pressure loss.
