STONE AGE LIFESTYLE
Living in the stone age might sound like a very different lifestyle than we currently lead, but if there is one thing we learned from the Flinstones, it's that the stone age is actually pretty relatable to current times! If you watch a couple episodes, you'll find a lot of big similarities.
For one they have cars! Sure, they are made of stone, and you push them with your feet, but a car is a car! They also have TVs and washing machines. When you look at the amenities they have, it doesn't sound half bad. They even live in a quaint little town called bedrock. They lead very similar lives to ours, with marriage, kids, a house and a job. You see, when you look at the obviously realistic evidence in this cartoon tv show, it becomes all too clear that life back then wasn't so different! 
FUN DETAILS 
This costume is instantly recognizable to any big fans of the show! You'll be dressed as Betty Rubble; this costume consists primarily of a simple yet elegant blue dress. A dress like this would have been incredibly stylish back in the day. Over the dress, you'll be wearing a black belt with fake bones lining the exterior. Last but not least, we've included the wig. The wig is an essential piece of this costume and is easily recognizable with its short black hair and blue bow. The whole combination here is sure to bring on waves of nostalgia for everyone you see. 
BETTY RUBBLE 
This costume is great on its own. But one way you could make it better is to turn this into a group costume. Grab some friends and dress them up as Barney Rubble, and the Flinstones! This combination would totally rock! (Another pun, sorry!)
