OVERVIEW: The Continental CrossContact LX Sport SSR (OE) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for crossover vehicles and SUVs. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.The tire was designed with Continental's Self-Supporting Run flat system (SSR) which enables the tire's limited temporary performance after air pressure loss. When air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. In this manner, the driver does not get stranded on the side of the road, but they can safely arrive at a near by location to change or fix the tire.
