The tire offers excellent summer weather road gripping ability in all weather conditions. The Smartgrip Technology ensures first-rate road gripping ability with the silica-rich tire compound and the directional tread pattern. The model is not meant to be used in winter weather, as the tread design will not maintain its excellent road gripping ability in colder temperatures. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The better summer weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure excellent driving security. The Stabilitread Technology used in the tire's manufacturing enhances the tire's footprint and tread pattern stiffness. It provides a wider and larger tire footprint that has a larger road contact area and it optimizes the tread pattern's stiffness. In this way, the tire evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area and prevents irregular wear patterns from forming. The longer lasting even wear, ensures an extended tire usability, making the tire more cost-efficient. The Smartgrip Technology also stabilizes the shoulder tread blocks, which improves the tire's handling and maneuvering.
