It is the original equipment tire of select Mercedes-Benz vehicle models. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.This summer tire offers excellent dry and wet weather traction. The only time it is not recommended to use this tire is in the winter. The colder temperatures make the tire lose its great road gripping ability, and this results in unsafe driving conditions. The tire's wide circumferential tread grooves help disperse water from below the footprint, and this way the tire resists hydroplaning in dangerous situations.The tire was manufactured using the SSR, or Self Supporting Runflat, Technology, which provides temporary restricted mobility for 50 miles and up to 50 mph after the loss of air pressure.
