[Universal Functionality] The SLIK PRO-AL-523-3WFC kit includes the PRO AL-523 full-sized aluminum tripod legs and the SH-747FC 3-way pan and tilt head with friction control. The head includes an Arca-type compatible quick-release platform allowing it to work with the included quick release plate, other Arca-type QR plates, L-brackets, and backpack “clip” systems.

[3-Way Pan and Tilt Head] The SLIK SH-747FC professional 3-way head allows independent control of head movements 1) The tilt handle controls up and down movements (2) The pan knob controls left and right movements (3) The horizon leveling handle controls landscape to portrait orientation and everything in-between to ensure proper leveling of your horizon. Independent friction control dials allow you to adjust drag and tilt movements. A cleverly designed dual-stage platform gives you a choice between the traditional (side-to-side) quick release plate placement, common on still cameras and the typical (front-to-back) quick release plate placement on video cameras.
[Multi-Function Center Column] The center column can be removed and reversed to position the head between the legs instead of on top. This offers ground-level and top-down perspectives not possible in the traditional set-up. It can also be separated into 2 pieces so the tripod can achieve a minimum height of 12.5 inches. Simply unscrew the two sections from one another in this tool-less design. An integrated, retractable hook sits at the bottom of the center column to hang your camera bag for increased stability on uneven terrain or windy conditions.
[Fast Operation] The patented “Rapid Flip Mechanism” allows for single handed operation of the leg angle adjustments. Easily set the legs to 1 of 3 locking position with a simple “Flip” to increase stability on uneven surfaces or lower the height of the tripod for creative low-angle perspectives.
