Before the first wash, the back of each rug is mildly burnt with hand-held flame emitting stoves. The rugs are given two rounds of rigorous washing, to provide the softest comfort underfoot. The finishing process includes hand shearing, with a unique and exaggerated one sided tassel fringe.
