Tube volume
The volume of containers with sealant for which the gun is designed. Usually we are talking about the volume of a hard tube, but some models allow you to work with soft bags.
In this case, in fact, the maximum volume of containers that can be installed in the device is implied: most models allow the use of tubes of a smaller volume than indicated in the specifications. The smallest modern pistols are designed for tubes of
300 – 310 mL(up to 450 mL), the largest can hold
from 600 to 750 mL.
Rod thickness
The thickness of the rod — the working rod — provided in the design of the gun.
In most models, this figure is from 6 to 8 mm. Moreover, the greater the thickness of the rod, the stronger and more reliable it is. At the same time, manufacturers select the thickness in such a way that the rod is guaranteed to be able to carry the loads planned for it; So in general, this indicator is more of a reference than of practical significance.
