— Direct. The name "straight" in this case is very conditional: such slides can have both a completely straight descent and a chute with slight bends that do not really affect the riding experience. Anyway, this shape allows you to accelerate faster than the wavy one, and the slides themselves are simple and inexpensive.

— Wavy. Descents with characteristic bends — "waves" — along the entire length. Usually there are 2 – 3 such waves; thanks to them, the descent becomes more exciting and "extreme", but at the same time quite safe. And in some models, riding feels like going down several slides in a row, which makes the slide even more interesting. On the other hand, the wavy shape does not allow you to accelerate much — at high speed you can hurt the “soft spots”.

— Curved. This category includes all slopes, the shape of which (when viewed from above) differs from a straight line. Such a gutter may be bent to the right or left, have an S-shape, and the like. Either way, the curved chute provides extra fun; in addition, with the same length of the entire slide, the length of the descent is greater than in the classical model. The disadvantage of this option is traditional — a relatively high price.

The maximum weight that the slide is designed for. In this case, the total load is indicated — the weight of all children on the hill. Therefore, if the product is bought for several people, it is necessary to take this moment into account and, if necessary, establish the rule “climb one at a time”. Usually, this function is found in slides for the younger age category, and the adjustment range is relatively small — up to several tens of centimeters. However, given the small size of such slides, the inclination of the chute at different height settings varies quite markedly. This allows you to choose the best option depending on the age and preferences of the baby.
