Peak power

Peak power is responsible for emergency situations, the device is able to work on it for a short time, however, long-term work with such a load is fraught with a meat grinder breakdown.

Capacity

The amount of meat that the meat grinder can process in one minute. More powerful meat grinders(see Power) are usually more performant, however, these two parameters are not directly related — the meat grinders with the same capacity may have different power, and vice versa, equally powerful devices may differ significantly in performance.

Nozzles

— Disk for minced meat. Classic universal disc for minced meat, fish, vegetables, etc. It is a metal disk with holes made in it. Sometimes a meat grinder can come with several discs with different hole sizes, which allows you to adjust the consistency of the product at the outlet.

— Drums for grating or chopping allow you to grate or cut vegetables evenly. The drum grater is a cylinder with holes, as on a conventional grater, in the chopping drum, instead of holes, narrow slots with blades are made. Such drums are installed in a meat grinder instead of a spiral screw.

Nozzle for kibbeh. Kibbeh is a dish of fried meat sausages stuffed with various fillings. Many modern meat grinders are equipped with nozzles for minced meat in the form of hollow tubes, into which the filling is then inserted.

For dicing. Attachment designed for cutting meat and other products in the form of small cubes. Unlike ordinary minced meat, this “format” of products preserves not only the original taste, but also the consistency of the products, and at the same time makes it easy to mix them with other ingredients. Such a nozzle is useful, in particular, for salads and soups.

— Nozzle for homemade sausages dispenses minced meat through a narrow neck, to which the casing is connected. By filling this shell, sausage is prep...ared.

Cutlet moulds. A capacity for minced meat, with which you can quickly and easily form cutlets out of it. This eliminates the need to mould them with your hands, in addition, if there is a mould, cutlets are obtained in the same size and shape.

For tomatoes or soft vegetables. Attachment for getting mashed soft vegetables and making tomato juice.

The citrus juicer is a rotating ledge with a ribbed surface. To get juice, you need to manually put half of the fruit on it with the pulp down and press strongly. Due to this procedure, the juice is squeezed out of the pulp, and the peel remains intact.

For grinding coffee (spices). The grinder with characteristic grinding rods, which used for grinding grains (including coffee), oilseeds crops, cereals, legume. It is perfect for making flour. Usually in such nozzles it is possible to adjust the degree of grinding.

For pasta (macaroni). Pasta discs with holes of different sizes for certain types of pasta (tagliatelle, fettuccini, noodles, etc.) have become popular. — Nozzle for cookies. Device for making figured cookies and pastries. This is a disk nozzle and a movable plate attached to it with template holes for molding figured dough. For making of cookies, it is recommended to use low and medium speeds of the meat grinder.

Control

The management of the meat grinder determines the way the user turns on the device, selects the operating mode, and starts additional functions such as reverse or pulse grinding.

Rotary Switch. A classic mechanical control in the form of a knob-switch that turns to one of the fixed positions. It is valued for its reliability and visibility: for example, you can quickly switch the meat grinder from operating mode to reverse without searching for the right button.

Button Control. A control system with physical buttons, where each key is responsible for a separate action or mode. Compared to the rotary regulator, buttons are more often found in models with multiple functions, such as separate reverse start, protection, or pulse mode.

Touch Control. Electronic control without protruding buttons, where commands are given by lightly touching the panel. This option is more commonly used in more modern meat grinders, fits well into a smooth body, and is easier to wipe after cooking, especially if the appliance is constantly in the kitchen.
