Bowl shape
The shape of the bidet body usually corresponds to the shape of the bowl. Most models have an elongated shape -
oval,
semicircular (with rounded front edge) or
rectangular <round bidet are quite rare and most often refer to design models, because for a number of reasons this form is considered less practical. It is also worth noting that in some cases the division by shape is quite conventional and strongly depends on the approach of each particular manufacturer: for example, rectangular and semi-circular model from different brands can be quite similar, and two rectangular - noticeably different. There are models
non-standard form.
Dimensions (HxWxD)
Dimensions of the bidet bowl - without taking into account the lid, tap and other equipment. Width and depth affect primarily the amount of space needed to install the product, while height also determines usability. Note that for the floor models (see «Mount») the height indicated in the dimensions actually corresponds to the working height, while for the suspended ones we are talking only about the size from the bottom to the top edge, and the actual working height can be different - because the bowl can be fixed at different levels.
Country of origin
There are many national stereotypes: some countries seem more attractive to many users than others. However, in our time these stereotypes are practically grounded. First, in the country of origin of the brand, often only the headquarters of the manufacturer, and the production may be located in another State. Second, the origin from a certain country is not a guarantee of quality: everything depends on how carefully a manufacturer controls its products. Therefore, to assess the quality should be guided not by «nationality», but primarily by the reputation of a particular brand and price category of the product. Among the countries represented are:
