Print speed
The maximum number of pages a fax can print per minute. Typically, the speed is somewhat lower than that of printers using the appropriate technology (laser, inkjet, etc.), however, the tasks facing the fax owner are somewhat different.
Number of print tones
The number of shades of grey that the fax print module can display on paper. Standard for an average fax is 64 shades, 128 and 256 for more expensive models. Quite `low cost` options, which are almost never used today, support 32 or even 16 shades.
Received Fax Memory
The number of received/queued/sent pages that fit in the fax memory. Often used to send a delayed message, or to print out with a delay if the fax runs out of paper.
