Glossary
Air circulation
The amount of air that the air cooler can pass through itself in an hour.
This parameter depends on the power and the overall level of the device, but there is no strict dependence here: models with the same effective power may differ in air circulation speed. In such cases, it is worth proceeding from the fact that a higher speed contributes to more uniform mixing of air and reduces the time required to create a given microclimate; on the other hand, higher-performance devices use more power, are larger and/or cost more.

Water tank volume
The volume of the water tank installed in the air cooler. A large capacity allows you to work longer without adding water, but it affects the dimensions and weight of the device. It should be borne in mind that the cooler the water, the greater the cooling effect and frequent water changes are even beneficial. Also, do not forget that pathogenic bacteria can grow in water if there is water left in the tank and the device is not used for a long time.
Operating time
These are hours of operation per tank filling. It depends on the volume of the tank and the consumption of water. It allows you to understand how long the device can work independently without human intervention.
Remote control
A remote control is included with the device. The convenience of this function is obvious — it eliminates the need to approach the device every time to turn it on, turn it off, etc. Note that remote control, unlike control via a smartphone, is usually only available within line of sight.
Air filter
The filter cleans the air passing through the air cooler, which not only improves the conditions in the room but also increases the service life of the device. Most models with this function are equipped with mechanical air filters to remove dust, soot and coarse particles. However, there are also coal elements that can absorb odours.
Heating power
The power when operating in the maximum heating mode. The ability of the air cooler to effectively heat a particular room directly depends on it. Some special formulas and methods allow you to determine how efficiently climate complexes of a given power operate in heating mode. So, for an ordinary dwelling with a ceiling height of about 2.5 m, at least 100 W of power per 1 m² of area is required.
Power consumption
The maximum power consumed by the device during operation. The lower it is the more economical the device. It should be noted that operation in the heating mode is highlighted as a separate item, but here it is indicated in the normal mode.
