Age group, from

The smallest age from which it is allowed to use an electric car. This parameter is associated both with the weight and physique of the baby, for which the design of the car is designed, and with additional functions — the older the age group, the more opportunities can be entrusted to a small driver and, most often, the equipment of an electric car is wider.

Note that the age group is a rather conditional indicator and in fact it only helps to approximately determine whether this or that model is suitable for your baby. The final choice depends on the physique, height, weight, convenience for the child, as well as his own desires and preferences. At the same time, the purchase of an electric car "for growth" is not excluded — a model of an older age group for a younger baby. However, in fact, this is permissible a maximum of 2-3 months before the calendar day of birth, and only if the child, in terms of development, already fully corresponds to the age of a year older. Otherwise, the use of an electric car can be not only inconvenient, but also unsafe for a small driver.

Also, the age group partly determines the maximum age for using an electric car — after all, a car for the smallest children will not only be uncomfortable, but also uninteresting. Usually the age range is around 2-3 years old: for example, most of the models of the age group " from 3 years old " are designed for ages...3-6 years old.

Number of seats

The number of seats provided in the machine.

The vast majority of modern electric vehicles are single-seater. However, there are also two-seater models — so that the child can ride a brother / sister or friend.

Reverse

The electric vehicle has a reverse mode. This mode can be very useful in some situations — for example, if the baby drove into a tight space or rested the car in front of an obstacle: an adult (or the driver himself) will not have to pull the “device” manually. Yes, and for educational purposes, this feature will be very useful — the skills of putting back will come in handy later, driving a real car. At the same time, for models of the younger age group (1-3 years), the presence of a reverse gear may turn out to be redundant — a child of this age is not yet sufficiently versed in the features of the machine.

Range

The longest distance an electric vehicle can travel on a single battery charge without recharging. This indicator is most often perfect, because. indicated for optimal conditions (constant speed, good road surface, no up/down, etc.). The actual driving range on a charge, usually, is less (sometimes noticeable), so it makes sense to choose a model according to this parameter with a certain margin. At the same time, different electric vehicles can be compared with each other in terms of range.

Charging time

The time required to charge a completely discharged battery to 100% capacity (of course, we are talking about a regular battery supplied with the machine). This indicator will allow you to estimate how much time it will take to “refuel” an electric car. It will also come in handy in the absence of a charge indicator (see above) — by keeping a good battery on charge for the specified time, you are guaranteed to receive a 100% “full” battery.

Carrier

A special compartment for storing and transporting personal items (for example, toys). The design of trunks in electric cars can be different - open trays in the rear of the body, compartments behind the seat, full trunks with a lid both under the hood and in the rear, etc.
