A significant player in the mid-range branded arena, armed with a 6.4-inch diagonal bezel-less screen with an Infinity-U style notch. The display of the gadget is built on a proprietary Super AMOLED matrix with a rich colour palette. Taking into account the proportions of 19.5:9, the image is broadcast on the screen at a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. "Under the hood" of the Samsung Galaxy A30 32GB, a bunch of homebrew "octa-core" Exynos 7904, ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics and 3 GB of RAM are working hard. The “iron” part of the device has enough strength to cope with tasks of moderate severity without hesitation. Takes pictures of a smartphone on a “spark” 16 + 5 MP “sirloin” cameras and a front 16 MP selfie camera. The user has the right to count on obtaining pictures of decent quality with...a sufficiently good quality of ambient lighting. Unlike its older brother in the face of the Samsung Galaxy A50, this model did not get a sub-screen, but a classic fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device. Under it, in the depths of the body of the device, a capacious 4000 mAh rechargeable battery with support for fast “refueling” technology of Samsung Charge tanks hides from prying eyes.

In general, a good smart, albeit a used one!

Jokingly: the phone is a cute candy
Performance - Quickly opens the application
Connectivity - Catches signal at a distance of 15 and more (20 m)
Autonomy - 4000 mAh is cool!
Design - I have a red one, dragon and nuclear color!
Display - Pleasant
Heating—sometimes the battery and CPU reach up to 36°C. Sometimes the battery quickly loses charge, but the problem may be due to heating.

The phone is reliable.

The phone is reliable. I've been using the Samsung Galaxy a30 since the fall of 2019. Today is August 24, 2021. During this time, there have not been any problems.
Good image on the screen. Fast internet via Wi-Fi. Contactless payment via NFC works well.
There are no drawbacks. But I want a bigger screen, more RAM, and more storage memory.

The phone still hasn't become outdated in 2021; I use it daily, even though I have the M51. The A30 is more convenient.

Bought on sale by chance. Already discontinued.
Great screen. Convenient fingerprint scanner. NFC works perfectly. Excellent for watching videos. Display brightness is on point. No complaints as a phone for calls.
Case is required.

Samsung conquered the low-cost smartphone market

If Samsung was confidently butting heads with Apple in the premium smartphone market, then things were not going well in the low-cost segment: Huawei, Xiaomi, Meizu and other Chinese brands lured customers away with lower prices and fancy functionality. And when it seemed that the train had already left, Samsung suddenly released the hit Galaxy A series, where literally every model became popular.

Super AMOLED screen in a $200 smartphone?

The new Galaxy A30 is the youngest model in the lineup, which at just over $200 stands out with a huge 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a flagship 85% display-to-body ratio and FullHD+ resolution. The screen turned out to be good even by the standards of more expensive smartphones. Plus, the AMOLED matrix consumes less energy, so with a 4000 mAh battery, the Galaxy A50 works the same day and a half as smartphones with a more capacious battery, but an IPS screen.

Thin bezels

In terms of design, it’s hard to say something, the smartphone looks like most of today’s heroes – a tiny droplet-cutout for the front camera, tiny frames and a glossy plastic glass cover with an iridescent gradient colour. In principle, all smartphones of the A series look the same, and only the oldest one, the A70, has metal in the design of the case.

Only the essentials

Usually, the difference lies in the gland. The younger A30 has the most modest: a new mid-low-cost single-chip Exynos 7904 chip, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage with support for memory cards. By the standards of today, this is enough for the comfortable operation of the system, surfing the net and communicating in social networks, but for demanding toys, the hardware will be rather weak.

Maximum equipment

But the rest of the functions are actually the same as in the older A50 and A70 models: NFC chip, USB-C, modern Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE modules, a separate audio output, a dual camera, a capacious 4000 mAh battery, fast charging and a fingerprint scanner . Unless, the scanner here is the most common, and the camera is more modest than that of older brothers. The overall quality is also on top, the smartphone is well built, looks nice, feels comfortable in the hand and has virtually no weak points. There is a jamb with resetting the camera settings, but it should be fixed in future updates. Therefore, it is not surprising that the A30 has become a hit and is selling like hot cakes. For this money, he actually has no competitors.
