An advanced camera from Canon's league of cropped DSLRs, "at the head of the table" is a 32.5 MP high-resolution matrix. The image processing in the camera is run by a powerful DIGIC 8 processor. This bundle ensures reliable operation of the camera in the entire ISO range (from 100 to 25600 units), high speed burst shooting (10 fps) and quick responsiveness of the DSLR in general.

The traditional autofocus system in the on-board equipment of the Canon EOS 90D kit has 45 cross-shaped sensors. In LiveView mode (i.e., on a 3-inch screen on the rear), the model relies on proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF focus, which has 5481 focus points. directly on the plane of the matrix.
