ASRock B660M Steel Legend is a mid-sized Micro-ATX motherboard for Intel's current 12 and upcoming 13 generation processors. Equipped with 9-phase power, covered with radiators. Similar bare aluminium coolers also get a chipset and one of two M.2 SSD slots (both support fast PCIe 4.0 drives).
The third M.2 slot, with Key-E pinout, is designed to install a Wi-Fi module. Four RAM slots support DDR4 up to 5000 MHz. There is no swivel USB Type-C on the rear interface panel, but it can be displayed on the front panel of the case. Moreover, versions 3.2 Gen 2x2 with speeds up to 20 Gbps.
The video outputs of the graphics accelerator built into the processor are already both digital - HDMI and Display Port. Nearby is a button for updating the BIOS firmware from a flash drive without a processor. The sound subsystem has a digital S / PDIF output and a software add-on Nahimic. And Ethernet is represented by a Realtek Dragon 2.5 Gbps chip.
