Model overview based on user reviews
The A-Data UV128 USB flash drive offers a range of capacities from 8GB to 512GB and is available from numerous retailers. Users appreciate its affordable price and good reading speed, with some noting it performs comparably to Transcend products. However, there are significant concerns about its build quality, with reports of a flimsy case and a tight extension mechanism. The write speed is a common complaint, as it often falls short of the advertised USB 3.0 capabilities, performing more like USB 2.0. Some users suggest considering alternatives like Kingston, Toshiba, or Sandisk for better overall quality.
Pros

Cons

In use, it very strongly reminded me of Transcend. The same thing, just from a different perspective...

The stated recording speed is not even close! 25 maximum. The reading speed is good - hundred. Still, for a capacity of 64Gb they could have installed a better controller.
Good reading speed. Tight extension mechanism.
Finished recording speed.

Buy Kingston, Toshiba, and Sandisk! This is a personal opinion.

I don't recommend it. For the money there is a better option.
Slightly faster speeds than competitors, on par with Transcend. Controller from Silicon.
The ugliest quality of the case. Everything hangs out as if the soul had been shaken out of a flash drive. Completely unacceptable. By the way, iron models from AData have difficulty fitting into the USB connector; nothing fits at all. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.

Regular like USB 2.0

An ordinary flash drive made of plastic.

The write speed does not match the description.
Measured by downloading, 1 file with a volume of 500 MB, from the hard drive of a PC to the flash drive (without any extenders)
USB 3.0 write speed 16 MB/s
USB 2.0 speed 12 MB/s
Measurements were done several times, the result is the same.

Measurement #2
Downloading 4 files with a total volume of 9.3 GB via USB 3.0
The writing lasted almost 14 minutes, i.e., a little more than 11 MB/s

And here you wonder, where are the advantages of USB 3.0.
