Intel Core i5-14600KF is a processor with Raptor Lake Refresh hybrid architecture, combining six powerful cores, each of which is divided into two virtual Hyper-Threading threads, and eight additional energy-efficient cores. A total of 20 threads are obtained, the load on which is evenly distributed by the intelligent Intel APO (Application Optimization) scheduler.

Auto overclocking 5+ GHz

APO is the main distinguishing feature of the 14th generation Intel Core from the previous 13th, which used a more primitive Thread Director. Games get the biggest performance boost from APO, up to 15 percent. Automatic overclocking Intel Turbo Boost raises the processor frequency to 5.3 GHz, while the heat dissipation increases to 181 W.

Two types of memory

Intel traditionally does not include a boxed cooler for processors with the K index, and it would not have been able to handle it. A large tower or even a liquid cooling system is definitely needed. RAM is supported by both DDR4 and DDR5, but not both types at once, with frequencies up to 8000 MHz. But there is no integrated video card, as evidenced by the F index.
