How Much Memory Does a Video Card Need in 202516 GB - the new hit of the season? Or is 8 GB still enough? Let's figure out the optimal VRAM volume for modern games.

Performance mystery: Why mobile graphics cards are inferior to discreteLet's look at how NVIDIA cheats with different versions of chips and why laptop manufacturers slow down graphics cards
Powerful, compact. It's like a different league after the 1060. Tensor cores. The cooling system is quite noisy, but if possible, look for a model with 3 fans. |
I've been using this graphics card for over half a year now, and overall, the impressions are positive. The form factor is compact, perfect for smaller cases, yet in terms of performance, it doesn't feel "cut down" at all. In games, it handles itself very confidently, with high settings and a stable frame rate. It's also well-suited for work — rendering, editing, AI tasks, and image generation all run without a hitch, and there's a noticeable reserve of power. The cooling is efficient, keeping temperatures normal even under load, but quietness is not its strong point. During gaming, the fans are quite audible. It's also worth mentioning the coil whine: at medium load, it's noticeable and can be annoying if you're in a quiet room. For me, this is probably the most unpleasant aspect of this model, but since I mostly use the PC with headphones, it's not too critical for me. Otherwise, the card leaves the impression of a solid option without unnecessary fuss. No lighting, loud labels, or wild designs. It's compact, powerful, and versatile — suitable for both modern games and creative tasks. By the way, I'd like to point out that it has 6 heat pipes in its heatsink, which allows it to maintain stable temperatures and cool down quickly after heavy use. If the cooling system was a bit quieter and without the whine, it would be almost perfect. As it stands, it's just a good working option with a few nuances to consider before purchasing. Performance, price (one of the cheapest 5070 on the market), compact size, metal backplate, availability of thermal pads under the backplate Inductor whine, the fans have high RPM and are therefore quite loud. 12GB is enough for now, but just barely. |

The format is really convenient. The card is compact, without giant shrouds, and fit into the case easily, without any hassle. It looks neat and understated, without unnecessary "gamer" flair. For me, that's a plus — I don't like it when everything inside the PC screams RGB.
Was pleasantly surprised by the temperature. Under load, it heats up moderately, didn't notice any overheating or throttling. There's noise, but within reasonable limits — nothing that would irritate during gaming or work. In normal mode, you don't even pay attention to it.
The performance is more than enough for modern games and everyday tasks. After the 1060, it feels like a full upgrade, not just a cosmetic swap. Overall, a very successful model: compact, powerful, with no unnecessary problems and a decent balance between size, temperature, and performance.
