A compact, small-sized motherboard for gamers from the new Riptide series launched by ASRock in 2022. Equipped with an Intel LGA 1700 processor socket, designed to work with DDR5 memory and drives supporting the PCI-E 4.0 bus. As planned by the manufacturer, it is the best candidate for assembling a compact gaming system in a Cube Case with a 12th or 13th generation Intel Core processor.
Despite belonging to the gaming class, the manufacturer decided to focus on the quality of the element base, improved details and the overall reliability of the system. In particular, the 13-phase power subsystem is built on the basis of DrMOS microcircuits, which uses separate chokes, capacitors and a multi-channel PWM control controller. The six-layer sealed copper PCB ensures stable electrical signal flow, lowering operating temperatures and improving power efficiency during memory overclocking.
Reinforced DIMM sockets are equipped with surge protection and fixed on the board surface to improve the signal throughput. Specialized PCI-e SMT connectors improve signal throughput and increase stability at high speeds, which is a critical nuance for the PCI-E 5.0 standard. In addition to this, all critical areas are equipped with additional cooling, and M.2 ports are covered with radiators.
The 1 Gbps network card was designed specifically for competitive gaming and resource-intensive tasks. The presence of a built-in RAID controller makes it possible to assemble a capacious storage on its base from several M.2 SSDs and four drives connected via SATA3 bus. Supports up to four DDR5 RAM modules with a maximum frequency of 6000 MHz and support for XMP 3.0 (maximum 128 GB).
