Transcend MTE245S is a relatively inexpensive solid-state drive with a high-speed PCI-Express 4.0 bus. Made in M.2-2280 format, it can reach a capacity of 4 TB. The most popular 1 TB version produces sequential read speeds of 5300 MB/s and 4600 MB/s write speeds. Therefore suitable, among other things, for the Sony PlayStation 5 game console.
Slim profile
Whereas for laptops, especially ultrabooks, the small thickness of the SSD heatsink is important. Graphene alloy is excellent at dissipating heat and avoiding frequent throttling. The eight-channel Realtek RTS5772DL controller is capable of processing up to 500 thousand IOPS (input-output operations per second). And LDPC technology automatically corrects ECC write errors.

The manufacturer claims an uptime of up to 2 million hours, and a rewrite resource of 600 TB for the 1 TB disk version. That is, you can rewrite a third of the entire disk capacity at least every day for five warranty years.
