The first sign of Samsung on the lightweight Android 8.1 Go Edition appeared to the public at sunset in the summer of 2018, as if from the recent past. The smartphone uses the classic 5-inch 16:9 aspect ratio reception. However the frames around it cannot be called narrow, and the picture is displayed on the display at a maximum resolution of 960x540 pixels. "Under the hood", as expected, you can see a modest hardware base as part of a homegrown "quad-core" Exynos 7570 in the company of 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of non-volatile memory.
The lack of free space in the built-in storage of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is compensated by the support of microSD cards. The trays for a flash drive and two SIM cards are accessible when the back cover is removed (as in the good old days). The model also has a removable battery (2600 mAh). The smartphone takes pictures of mediocre quality with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Three colour versions of the device are offered for taste and colour: strict black vestments, a dark blue suit and a light golden outfit.
