A compact micro-ATX motherboard from the 2023 Biostar PRO line. Due to its versatility, it can be used as a reliable base for an office computer, a mid-range gaming system, or an inexpensive workstation for photo and video processing, mathematical calculations, animation, etc. The board is powered by the Intel B760 mid-range chipset and is equipped with an LGA 1700 socket, which allows it to work with 12th and 13th generation Intel Core hybrid multi-core processors.
The motherboard has 4 RAM slots (DDR5-6000 MHz up to 128 GB), 2 M.2 slots and 4 drives with a classic SATA 3 connector. 6 provides fast and high-quality processing of wired and wireless network traffic. Separately, it should be noted a rather intelligent 10-phase power converter, a massive VRM heatsink, additional cooling for M.2 slots for SSD drives, and a TPM connector for connecting an encryption module.
Three generations of prots
Biostar B760MZ-E Pro is a Micro-ATX motherboard for Intel 12, 13 and upcoming 14th generation processors. The B760 chipset does not support processor overclocking, but it allows overclocking RAM to 6000+ MHz. Up to 192 GB of RAM can be installed in four DIMM slots. A ten-phase VRM with aluminium heatsinks will even pull out the Core i9 without any problems.
Pair of fast SSDs
There are two M.2 SSD slots available, both with PCIe 4.0 bus. The same high-speed interface also supports the x16 video card slot. The third M.2 slot, but with an alternative Key-E pinout, is for a Wi-Fi wireless module (sold separately). Wired Internet is represented by an Ethernet 2.5 Gb / s controller.
RGB and ARGB backlight
On the rear panel of the motherboard there are four outputs of the integrated video card at once, three of which are digital: HDMI, DP, DVI and VGA. USB ports on the back are only classic Type-A, while the newfangled Type-C can be brought from the motherboard to the front panel of the PC case. Three connectors are provided for illumination at once: one RGB 12V and two ARGB 5V.
