How to choose a motherboard?Motherboard is the main part of any computer. Here's how to choose the right one for work, play and entertainment
good model, liked it.
15 June 2020
Not a bad motherboard. I've been using it for over a year now with a Ryzen 5 2600. It's well-made and I haven't had any problems with it, except for one oversight I didn't notice when purchasing. After assembling the computer, I was left puzzled when it came time to connect the sound card. I simply didn't see the PCI Express x1 slot to plug it into. Upon investigation, the reason was silly. Since it's too close to the graphics card slot, installing the graphics card completely covers it with its cooling system. Because of this, I had to install the sound card into the lower PCI Express x4 slot.

But there are positive aspects too. For instance, this is my first motherboard in a long time with no sound problems. Before this, I had a Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3V motherboard (for Intel Kaby Lake processors), and before that, an ASRock 970 Extreme4 (AMD AM3+ socket). Both had terrible interference when outputting sound through the built-in sound card. The squeaks, whines, and other noise were so strong that listening to music through headphones or speakers was impossible, forcing me to buy a separate sound card. This motherboard has completely clean sound. However, I still need to use a separate sound card because the built-in power isn't enough for my old Sennheiser HD 201 headphones. Also, the UEFI BIOS is pretty good. It's not perfect but it's much more convenient and visually appealing than my previous Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3V.
Build quality, good sound, reasonable BIOS
