One of the most well-equipped mid-range overclocker motherboards based on the 2020 AMD B550 chipset with an AM4 processor socket. Works correctly with Ryzen 3000 processors with Matisse cores (7nm) and Ryzen 4000G APUs (Renoir core, 7nm). With support for a full set of overclocking features, it is suitable for creating high-performance gaming and overclocking systems integrated into high-speed cable or wireless networks.
Equipped with a powerful 16-phase digital Digi Power subsystem with additional aluminium radiators and a heat pipe. The ASRock B550 Taichi motherboard supports up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM, which is more than enough for any gaming, streaming and demanding professional applications. Thanks to the reinforced PCIe x16 connectors, it works without problems with large-sized and massive models of top / pre-top discrete video cards. Supports the connection of two high-speed M.2 SSDs, both of which are equipped with a heat sink, and one is capable of working with a PCIe Gen 4.0 interface. The built-in 2.5GbE Intel I225V controller and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless module are responsible for high-speed data transfer in networks.

Works perfectly with my Ryzen 5800X. Looks absolutely amazing. There's enough power to connect 2 more notebooks via two USB Type-C ports (one on the motherboard panel, the other on the case) - this was the main reason I chose this motherboard. There are more than enough connectors on the motherboard itself; I had enough for water cooling and 5 additional fans, which, by the way, don't work because the motherboard never heats above 43 degrees (possibly because I haven't pushed it very hard yet). The only issue was installing the water cooling system. Due to the height of the cooling block at the top of the motherboard, it was difficult to fit one fan from the cooling block plus I couldn't screw it in with one bolt because it was impossible to reach that corner. Thank God the cooling block on the board is angled, and after pressing the fan with screws, the pressure on the motherboard from the fan was significantly reduced, and you could say everything fit tightly but well (except for the unscrewed bolt). incredibly beautiful both M2 slots with cooling two USB Type C ports (rear and a connector for the case) very good power supply, suitable for the most powerful Ryzen processors that will fit into this socket, and even for overclocking them (although I haven't done that) the connectors on the board are ideally positioned, even managed to hide all the wires from the water cooling system (even though it has 3 connections to the board) There is WiFi and Bluetooth of the latest models There is a convenient reset and BIOS update button (have already used both buttons due to initially incorrect settings) almost messed up connecting the water cooling fans due to high cooling (but a lot depends on the arrangement of components) The BIOS from ASRock is not user-friendly, I got tired of setting up the fan operation because there are no graphs, only numbers. Very few devices support POLYCHROME RGB lighting synchronization. I couldn't find a single device with such support that I wanted to buy. For example, there are no graphics cards with such synchronization at all. I had to manually adjust all other case lighting elements to match the colors of the motherboard to make it look somewhat uniform.  Ivandr: use ASRock B550 Taichi less than month |
