Grown Screens
The first thing that catches the eye is the enlarged external screen, which now occupies almost half the body. Its diagonal is 4.1 inches, with a resolution of 1048x948 pixels. The only nuance is the area under the dual main camera modules and flash, partially overlapping the display. The main foldable screen has also slightly increased — from 6.7 to 6.8 inches. It still features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X matrix with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Flagship Performance
The hardware is based on the proprietary 10-core Exynos 2500 processor, complemented by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone easily handles modern games and resource-intensive applications in multitasking conditions. The model also includes extended Galaxy AI functions with the ability to recognize objects in real-time both on the screen and through the camera.
Positive Qualities
The model retains the camera configuration of the previous Samsung Galaxy Flip6 version: the main module is 50 MP with optical stabilization, complemented by a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and the 10 MP front camera is located inside the folding screen. However, in Galaxy Flip7, the battery capacity has been increased to 4300 mAh. The battery supports both wireless charging and reverse charging. It is also worth mentioning the dust and water protection to IP48 standards, as well as support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 — all of which make the Flip7 a more advanced version in the lineup.
