Inno3D GeForce RTX 2060 Super iChill X3 Ultra is perhaps the most breakthrough graphics card in the entire Super line, as it received the most improvements compared to the original RTX 2060. Significant changes have also been made to the NVIDIA Thuring architecture TU106 graphics chip. The number of stream processors increased from 1920 to 2176 pieces (which is 13 percent more), texture units — from 120 to 136 (+13%), render units — from 48 to 60 (+25%), tensor cores — from 240 to 272 (+13%), and RT cores from 30 to 34 (+13%). In addition to the increased memory capacity, the bus width has also increased from 192 to 256 bits.

Catch up and overtake

Thanks to this, the gaming performance of the factory overclocked RTX 2060 Super has increased almost to the level of the RTX 2070, and you can still experiment with additional manual overclocking. Naturally, along with this, power consumption and heating have grown — from 160 W for the original RTX 2060 to 175 W for the Super version. That is why the two and a half slot heatsink and trio of iChill X3 Ultra fans look quite appropriate.

Cool and durable

In addition to the massive cooler, the Inno3D GeForce RTX 2060 Super iChill X3 Ultra also has a metal backplate that acts as both an additional cooler and a stiffening rib. All this is complemented by spectacular RGB lighting. Video outputs are represented by one HDMI 2.0 and three DisplayPort 1.4. In addition, Inno3D has a version of the RTX 2060 Super with a simpler dual-fan cooling system.
