Performance and battery life
This is a slightly simplified version of Xiaomi Mi Note 10, which received the same performance and a simpler camera, so if you don’t need a smartphone as a camera, it makes no sense to overpay. The Mi Note 10 Lite has the same Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor, where G means its involvement in the gaming segment, paired with Adreno 618 graphics. As a result, the smartphone will run modern games without problems, although for comfortable gaming you still have to choose medium graphics settings. Here we add 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, but, unfortunately, there is no slot for a memory card.
Battery life here is also at a high level: the battery capacity is 5260 mAh, and this, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 14 hours of gaming. It comes with a 30W fast charger, so it takes just over an hour to fully restore power. NFC for contactless payments is also available.
Display
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a large 6.47-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ (2340x1080) resolution, HDR10 support and rich colours. The edges of the display are rounded, so there is a resemblance to the flagships, but sometimes false clicks cannot be avoided. In the settings you can find DC Dimming to reduce flicker and Always On Display. For the front camera, there is a waterdrop notch, which, if desired, can be hidden in the settings: then a solid black bar appears at the top of the display.
The fingerprint scanner is under the screen, in terms of response speed it is still inferior to the usual ones. The speaker is quite loud, but it is located at the bottom, and if you use the smartphone in a horizontal position in games, it will be closed with your hand. Therefore, it is better to use headphones — fortunately, they have a standard 3.5 mm jack.
cameras
The main camera is the main difference from Xiaomi Mi Note 10. The Lite version uses not a 108-megapixel Samsung sensor, but a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686, and three more modules come with it, not four modules. As a result, the camera does not protrude so much above the body, but is inferior to the Mi Note 10 in terms of shooting quality, especially in poor lighting and in the case of contrasting scenes. There is a special vlog mode for short videos with filters and animation. There is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
