Model overview based on user reviews
The TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wi-Fi adapter is a mixed bag according to user reviews. Many users appreciate its stable signal and decent range, with some successfully using it to connect over long distances, even up to 300 meters. The adapter's design and reasonable price are also noted as positives. However, several users have reported issues with connectivity, especially when using Windows 7 and Linux, citing problems with drivers and software compatibility. Some users experienced frequent disconnections, particularly when the device wakes from Sleep mode. While it works well for some, others found it unreliable and difficult to set up, especially on non-Windows platforms. Overall, it seems to be a good budget option for those who can navigate its setup challenges, but it may not be suitable for everyone, particularly Linux users.

An excellent adapter, the firewood fit perfectly on my old Windows 7 wood plane, the apartment is large, the walls are concrete, and it catches perfectly!!! I advise Handsome, kind, GREAT COMMUNICATION no just bought TP-LINK TL-WN722N |
RECOMMEND For a year now he has been working around the clock from my window to my neighbor’s window 50 meters away. My neighbor has the Internet, and I’m happy, we pay in half! didn't watch. |
I don’t know about other models, but take the tenth route around this one. A beautiful view, but that's where its advantages end. I bought it, but I couldn’t connect it to Windows 7. The software that came with it doesn’t work with the device. I managed to somehow connect it to XP with just drivers, without a utility, the Internet hangs, the percentage loads... In general, it’s a crapshoot, I screwed it up wires, put them back in the box and threw them in the trash, my nerves couldn’t handle it. Period. |
