At its debut, Realme GT Neo 5 set new standards in wired charging power. This model was presented in two variants: one with a 4600 mAh battery and 240-watt charging, and the other with a 5000 mAh battery and a 150-watt adapter. In the international market, the 240W charging version has been renamed Realme GT 3 to avoid confusion.
AMOLED screen
GT Neo 5 is a high-end mobile device and is equipped with a huge 6.74-inch AMOLED display that displays images in a resolution of 2772x1240 pixels. The display supports up to 7 levels of adaptive refresh rate (up to 144 Hz), full coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and a sampling rate of 1500 Hz, which guarantees fast touch response.
Advanced hardware
The heart of the device is a powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, complemented by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. Effective cooling is provided by an eight-component system, including an evaporation chamber and graphene layers. Excellent photographic capabilities are provided by a triple main camera of 50 + 8 + 2 MP with optical stabilization and a 16 MP front camera.
Potential for success
As noted, the smartphone stands out for its 150-watt charging. It also features NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the rear panel with the camera there is an LED notification indicator, which is customizable for different applications. For example, when the battery charge is below 20%, the indicator glows red. Realme GT Neo 5 promises to be one of the best devices in its class.
