How to Choose a Gaming MonitorWe understand matrix types, suitable resolution, FreeSync and other important aspects when choosing a gaming monitor

Monitor matrices types: TN+film, IPS, VA, OLED, QLED and QD-OLEDCurrent types of monitor matrices, their pros and cons, as well as recommendations for selection
A slightly trimmed version of the Evnia line. Personally, I didn't want to overpay for speakers and a 144 MHz refresh rate suits me just fine. I bought it with a clear understanding of what I want from a monitor and overall it met my expectations. I love Philips. Beautiful design, the plastic feels sturdy. I was afraid that when switching to IPS, black wouldn't be black enough, but it's indeed black enough to be called black. The settings are quite flexible. HDR10 is almost a scam. Don't pay attention to this label; it's a completely useless feature. Despite the hardware lacking speakers, the settings suggest that they are present. Additionally, the Display Port cable is not included in the package. |
