How to choose the right SSDChoosing an SSD with the required speed and good reliability for home, work and gaming
Model overview based on user reviews
The Gigabyte M.2 NVMe SSD offers a combination of affordable pricing and high endurance, making it an attractive option for many users. While some users have experienced issues with the drive being recognized as PCI-E 2x instead of 4x, affecting speed performance, others have found the speed to match the stated specifications. Installation can be tricky, with some needing to format the drive using specific software before it is recognized by the BIOS. Despite these challenges, the SSD is praised for its fast performance and low heat generation, making it a solid choice for both system and gaming use. Overall, it is recommended for those looking for a budget-friendly, reliable SSD, though some users suggest it may not offer a noticeable difference compared to traditional SATA SSDs in everyday use.

Looks like a top terabyte for games

The declared speeds in the tests show. In real life, I have nothing to load it so that it works at maximum speeds. And since I do not load it to the maximum, then it does not heat up. Let's see how long it works.

The product is interesting even with its shortcomings.

I would buy this SSD for its merits even if the speeds were honestly indicated, but there remains a residue of disappointed expectations. The product is completely new, so I would like to hope for a problem in the driver, and not for dishonest marketing.
The combination of a relatively low price (8550+-40 rubles) and a relatively high TWB (1600 TB) with 1 TB capacity and other stated parameters at the time of purchase (12/2019/05) looked fabulous.
Unfortunately, it is defined as PCIe 2x (in BIOS and Win10) in a proven 4x slot, and works accordingly: ~1500(1 thread)..1700(6 threads) MB/s - the difference in read/write is small ( write faster) - the stated 2500/2100 MB/s (read faster) are unattainable.

I recommend formatting it from under Windows or using a LiveCD before installing the system.

Bought it for a budget build of a work PC system. Overall satisfied.
Neat assembly, good packaging. The speed approximately matches the stated one.
When installing the system, the boot sector of the disk would not show up in the UEFI BIOS at all, and therefore it was impossible to boot from it. Although the Windows installer could see it and write files to it. In the system booted from the old SATA disk, it also displayed correctly and could be worked with. The boot sector also displayed. Only formatting this disk with AOMEI Partition version 8.8 helped. Only after this was it possible to install Windows on it and boot up.
