It is positioned as a product of the upper price category from the popular Gigabyte Aorus family of premium gaming devices. It differs from top-end monitors from other manufacturers in its original proprietary thin-frame design with a multifunctional stand and Gigabyte RGB Fusion controlled ambient lighting.

The Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q monitor screen is based on a 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) AAS-IPS matrix manufactured by Innolux with a resolution of 2560x1440 and Flicker-Free backlighting on W-LEDs. The successful implementation of motion compensation technology has reduced the minimum response time to 1 ms according to the MPRT method. Thanks to the low response time, AMD FreeSync Premium technology and high screen refresh rate, the monitor is able to produce a perfectly clear picture, without the slightest blur or artifacts, even in the most dynamic moments of the gameplay. With support for 30-bit colour representation, the screen can display over a billion colours and supports correct HDR output, greatly enhancing shadow and highlight detail. Connection to a PC or other signal sources is carried out via HDMI 1.4 or Display Port 1.2 interfaces (both types of cables are included). There is a two-port USB 3.0 hub.
