Biostar B760MX2-E D4 is one of the most affordable motherboards based on the new Intel B760 chipset that supports Core 12 and 13 generation processors without the need for a BIOS update. It has a powerful 10-phase VRM, and the side mosfets are protected by an aluminium heatsink. However, it does not have an M.2 SSD cooler, although it even supports ultra-fast PCIe 4.0 drives.
The motherboard has two DDR4 RAM slots. If you need a motherboard with four slots and support for progressive DDR5, then you should pay attention to the older Biostar B760MZ-E Pro. The x16 discrete graphics slot also supports PCIe 4.0, which allows you to install graphics accelerators that are highly dependent on bus bandwidth.
The integrated video card has three video outputs: digital HDMI, DVI and analog VGA. There are four USB Type-A connectors on the rear panel, two of which are fast 3.2 Gen 1. In addition, the motherboard has a mount for Wi-Fi antennas, and an M.2 Key-E slot is designed for a wireless Internet adapter. Wired Ethernet supports speeds up to 2.5 Gbps.
