How to choose a gaming headphoneWe understand the differences between regular and gaming headphones, tell you how to approach the choice of a headset wisely
Model overview based on user reviews
The Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones are praised for their excellent sound quality, long-lasting battery life, and effective noise cancellation. Users appreciate the versatility in connecting to various audio sources, including NFC and Bluetooth. The headphones offer a good balance of sound with a customizable equalizer, although some users find the bass to be overly emphasized, affecting the detail in high and mid frequencies. The design is generally well-received, though some find the fit slightly uncomfortable during movement. While the headphones excel in music playback, their performance as a headset for calls is criticized, as they tend to pick up surrounding noises. Despite the high price, many users find the features and sound quality justify the cost, especially for those who prioritize bass. However, audiophiles seeking a balanced sound might find them lacking. Overall, the Sony WH-1000XM2 is a solid choice for music lovers who value noise cancellation and connectivity options.

good model, like it

I liked the headphones. Sound. At first, it seemed like the volume wasn't very high. Listened briefly and put them away. Later, in the right mood, I gave them a thorough listen. Good soft sound, enough bass, the high frequencies are in the right range, bass guitar, cymbals, drums—all good, all audible. I'm not an audiophile at all, forgive me, and I don't reach for the notes, but I've been a music lover for a long time) I love quality and balanced sound, with a well-tuned stage. The equalizer helps adjust the sound picture for many genres. I liked how these headphones sound. Metallica, Aerosmith, Audioslave, White Stripes, pop—they perform! Never thought Bluetooth could deliver sound quality! But yes, they play quite well!!! My friends also appreciated it. The battery holds up very confidently! As for comfort... My head doesn't get tired, but I don't wear them all day. The price is steep, but I got them as a gift, so I'm completely satisfied. Through the app, all kinds of settings are available—convenient. They even received some update for the headphones. For those whose factor isn't price—go for it! And I'm turning on the next track) I'll rate them "good," let them strive for better.

This model is not suitable for connoisseurs of high-quality and balanced sound.

I got a chance to listen to this model at a demo stand in the M-video store. Seeing the price of this device, it was impossible to just walk by. I was, of course, impressed by the synchronizations available with sound sources like NFC, Bluetooth, USB, etc. The headphones fit quite nicely, though to me they seem a bit large. The sound isolation is at a decent level, everything inspires confidence and promises exclusive sound. However, this miracle did not occur. I'm a fan of instrumental and pop music, and for me, the balance between all sound registers is important, although I won't hide that highs and mids are my priority. This is exactly where these headphones fall short, having an extreme shift in favor of a bombastic bass. There's so much bass that it simply distorts and cuts off the high frequencies, which is disappointing because the detail sharply drops as a result. My JBL earbuds seem much more balanced across the entire frequency spectrum in this case. These headphones would suit young people who prioritize pounding bass over the actual quality of sound. For those who want a lot of bass but don't want to carry a subwoofer, this model will do. But for true audiophiles, just walk on by.
Versatility in connecting to any audio source;
Product quality;
Beautiful design.
Low level of detail;
Low level of HF and MF;
Bass is extremely overemphasized.
normal model, nothing special

If the headphones could also work as a headset, it would be perfect. They claim 'HD calls', but in reality, it's just a regular noisemaker...
The sound is good, even better with the cable. Noise cancellation is excellent. There is an app where you can customize almost everything.
The fit isn't the most comfortable (it feels a bit strange when you turn your head), but it's bearable.

What turned out to be a horrible surprise was the quality of the headphones as a headset. During calls, it feels like the headphones pick up all surrounding noises and send them to the person on the other end along with your voice. The most frequent question I hear during conversations is, 'Can you repeat that? I can't understand anything.' Sony support says they get a lot of these complaints, but everything is working as it should...
