The youngest and most affordable model in the HD 5XX line, which allows you to get the most out of listening to Hi-Res tracks. Designed for use as part of a complex of high-quality sound-reproducing equipment in a calm home environment. They have a considerable impedance resistance (50 ohms), therefore, to reveal their full potential, an additional amplifier with an ultra-low level of harmonic distortion is needed.

The Sennheiser HD 559 headphones are based on patent-protected proprietary Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement (EAR) technology, which focuses the audio stream precisely into the user's ear canals. According to the manufacturer, an impressively low level of non-linear distortion (THD<0.1%) is guaranteed. Excellent ergonomics make long hours of listening as comfortable as possible, and the smooth lines of the exterior design will hardly leave anyone indifferent. Supplied with a detachable three-metre cable with a 3-pin Jack 6.35 mm connector.

Sennheiser has a wide variety of headphone lines for audiophiles, musicians, athletes, and more. The 500-series headphones are a mid-range option that doesn't cost too much, yet delivers high-quality near-hi-fi sound and boasts a comfortable and well-thought-out headpiece. Specifically, the 559 model has soft velor ear cushions that fit nicely to the ears and do not sweat in the heat, and the overall design provides an excellent fit on the head. According to the manufacturer, the design here is actually the same as that of the top model HD599.

And in the classics they can, and they are friends with hip-hop

In terms of sound, there is a rather interesting picture here: the bass is high-quality, hard and dynamic. Perfect for listening to dance music or hip hop. But at the same time, there is no distortion in basses here, if you turn on classical music or jazz, then the sound loses its excessive assertiveness, becoming much calmer and somewhat detached, with adequate detail and good panning.

Interchangeable plug

A big plus of the Sennheiser HD 559 is the interchangeable plug. If the headphones accidentally catch on something, it will simply detach. If the wire becomes unusable, then you can simply buy a new one, and not carry the headphones for repair. Just keep in mind that the kit does not include a 3.5 mm adapter, if you plan to use headphones with a laptop or smartphone, then you need to purchase it separately.
