I was selecting an affordable smartphone (definitely up to 4000 UAH) with a modern processor, camera, capacious battery, and fast charging. There are simply no equivalents in this price group. I managed to grab a 64 GB version on sale at Rozetka for 3999 UAH. The device is perfect for a school student, and if compared to competitors from Redmi, it wins on almost every front. - very fast Realme UI shell, with 3 GB of RAM runs 10 or more programs in memory, doesn't unload anything. The interface does not lag or freeze. After two years of using the Redmi Note 5 3/32 GB, I am amazed at how easy it turns out to work on 3 GB of RAM. Xiaomi, take note. Your lagging MiUI on 3 GB is just rock bottom. - excellent camera for its price. There is also an ultra-wide module, which competitors do not have in this price range. - 5000 mAh with excellent Realme UI optimization easily lasts for two full days with two hours of gaming a day, listening to music, and browsing. - the included 18W charging block charges quickly, type-C port. - adequate operation of the brightness sensor, left automatic brightness adjustment enabled. - Mediatek G80 processor performs excellently both in games and in work when shooting photos and videos. - Not quite a drawback, but this fact might be useful to someone: the included bumper does not protect the protruding camera block on the back of the smartphone, but it does have protrusions on all four corners at the front, making it more convenient to place the phone face down. This way, the cameras don't get scratched and the screen stays intact. That's it! For its price, this is one of the best phones right now. |
It has everything people need from a budget smartphone. The combination of 18W charging and a 5000mAh battery + Type-C means that the smartphone is hard to drain, easy to charge, and the charging port is difficult to damage. Despite being plastic, the body has a pretty rigid frame. Out of the box, the smartphone has a decent screen protector (I'm not a fan of protectors, but I didn’t feel like peeling it off). The package also includes a silicone case, which, unlike some other included cases, fits and holds quite well. In regular tasks, the phone doesn't heat up much. So "in theory," the smartphone will serve well and for a long time. Now, about the drawbacks: First is the appearance. In the picture, it seems striped, but in reality, this pattern on the back cover is less contrasting, and overall, the smartphone looks somewhat dull. Maybe my Meizu spoiled me, but the speaker lacks depth. Honestly, the old M6 Note sounds better. The main camera in the phone seems to be based on the Samsung GM2, which isn't the worst sensor, but the app is mediocre. The auto mode takes decent photos outdoors in normal light, but any deviation, and the white balance goes off, and its adjustment is only available in "manual" mode. The manual mode, in turn, is somewhat awkward and inconvenient, and it naturally lacks long exposure imitation. The night mode for some reason likes to pull up shadows, resulting in more noise than without it. HDR isn't overwhelming, but it's still a bit intrusive. Overall, the camera app is mediocre. Don't expect magic from the HDR and night modes at the level of an iPhone or Pixel. Charging capacity. 5000 mAh. Body. Main camera hardware. I don't play games, but the processor seems good. Bright screen with good contrast and decent color reproduction. USB Type-C. The sound did not impress. The appearance is simpler than in the picture. Camera app. You might notice the difference between HD and Full HD when looking at photos or on YouTube or while watching movies. (When internet surfing and using regular apps, messengers, readers - you won't care, trust me). |
For the money, it's normal, but there are jambs, first of all, it's the sensor. You have to press harder than in other phones, because sometimes it doesn't work stupidly. The speed of work is so-so, it is especially annoying when you take pictures and he normally thinks like that. And what kind of money is this phone. I am pleased with the battery, 2 iron days, can be stretched to 3 (I don't play games) Camera is ok, battery Touchscreen, speed of operation |
Who's new?
The Chinese brand Realme, which appeared literally out of nowhere, has made a name for itself in a couple of years and now seriously claims to become the new Meizu and defeat Xiaomi. At least, this impression is created in numerous reviews, where the new Realme smartphones are called Redmi killers.
5000 mAh battery with fast charging
Powerful batteries have become a hallmark of Realme devices. If last year manufacturers came up with an optimal figure of 4000 mAh, then Realme lures buyers with a 5000 mAh battery. In gentle mode, this can last up to three days without recharging, and fast 18-watt charging allows you to go from 0 to 100% charge in just 55 minutes. In addition to the battery, Realme attracts with powerful cameras. In the case of Realme 6i, we have a camera with a 48 MP main sensor and three auxiliary modules for landscape, portrait and macro photography. We’ll make a reservation right away that you shouldn’t expect miracles, the camera shoots exactly on its own money: when shooting during the day, you get good detail with an adequate white balance, but at night the quality is not so hot. Although, the included night mode “pulls out” the dark areas a little.
USB-C, NFC and quad camera
Among other nice features, it is important to note the presence of an NFC module, modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth receivers, and a rather nimble filling by the standards of this class (Mediatek Helio G80 + Mali-G52 MC2 + 3 GB of LPDDR4x memory + 64 GB storage), which stuffs 202275 points in the AnTuTu test and handles well with toys of the caliber of the fresh Call of Duty Mobile. The IPS display with a diagonal of 6.5" is also quite good: it has good viewing angles, an adequate supply of brightness and colour reproduction close to natural, but with a resolution of only 1600x720 pixels. In fact, it turned out that the pixels are not too striking, and watching TV shows and scrolling through the news feed on such a screen is surprisingly comfortable.
Ambiguous design
We have not yet decided on the attitude to the back cover. An unusual texture with vertical stripes looks fresh, but not beautiful. It looks especially strange with the green coloring, which constantly flashed in promotional materials. If we take out the controversial design and display resolution, then we get a successful smartphone. The only problem is that it has few distinctive features and too many competitors.
