The Philips curved gaming monitor is a relatively inexpensive 27-inch solution as part of the proprietary Momentum line. The model can be recommended primarily to undemanding gamers and owners of not the most productive PCs, because the resolution of the display here is quite modest by today’s standards 1920 by 1080 pixels with a pixel size of 0.31 mm. The Philips 27M1C3200VL monitor is based on a VA matrix with 8-bit color. The picture is characterized by truly high-quality color reproduction, which is confirmed by the sRGB space coverage expanded to 121% (as well as 99% NTSC). The advantages of the image include a high static contrast (3000:1), suitable for watching movies in the dark. But brightness is at a base level of 250 nits, so intense light may detract from the image. The gaming...status of the model is reinforced primarily by the high Hertz frequency (165 Hz) and decent performance of the matrix (response time from 1 to 4 ms). We should also highlight the standard stand with minimal options for adjusting the position of the screen, as well as a good set of connection interfaces - two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort v 1.4.
