Panasonic DMC-GH2
This camera came to replace the outdated GH1. The Panasonic DMC-GH2 hybrid camera has a wide range of features, which allows it to take high-quality pictures that are not inferior to DSLR models.

Matrix:
The camera has a specially designed 18 megapixel LiveMOS sensor (16 million effective pixels), which allows you to take pictures with a maximum resolution of 4608x3456 pixels and various aspect ratios (4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 1:1). The sensitivity of the sensor is from 160 to 12800 IS0.

For confident handheld shooting, the camera is equipped with an electronic image stabilization system that minimizes camera shake for crisp photos.

Like its predecessor, Panasonic DMC-GH2 allows you to take pictures in RAW and JPEG formats with support for EXIF information (ver. V2.3), also supports DPOF for fast printing on printers.

The shutter is automatically released after a delay of 2 or 10 seconds. The camera supports the auto bracketing function — no. frames 3,5,7 and in steps of 1/3, 2/3 or 1 EV step ±3 EV.
The camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder displaying 1.56 million sub-pixels.

CPU:
The GH2 is equipped with the new Venus Engine FHD, which delivers 2x faster autofocus speed than previous Micro 4/3 cameras. The power of the processor made it possible to increase the rate of fire during serial shooting up to 5 fps. (in maximum resolution), and up to 40fps. — in 4 Mp resolution (using electronic shutter).

Video:
The powerful new Venus Engine FHD processor allows not only high-quality and fast processing of images, but also supports the ability to shoot video in Full HD 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) in live video mode (60 fps), which is supported by AVCHD format with bitrate 24 Mbps using auto and manual (AF-F) focus modes. Also, the processor increased the rate of fire of the device up to 7 continuous frames in RAW format (to the buffer for processing) and JPEG — up to an unlimited number when using a high-speed memory card.

Panasonic designers have equipped the unit with a mini-HDMI port to synchronize it with external display sources. Also available is a high-speed USB 2.0 — port port, (NTSC / PAL) video output and to accompany a stereo track — 2.5 mm. mini audio output (through which you can connect the remote control) .

Display:
A significant plus of the camera is a new rotary touch 3-inch LCD display, displaying up to 460,000 pixels, which can be tilted up to 180 degrees with the ability to rotate around the horizontal axis by the same multiple. This feature will allow the photographer to shoot in non-standard angles.

G-series devices can now be equipped with new lenses:
  • Telephoto lens with Mega OIS — Lumix G Vario 100-300mm/F4.0-5.6 (H-FS100300).
  • And the world's lightest interchangeable prime lens, the Lumix G 14mm/F2.5 (H-H014).
Memory:
The GH2 uses SD (HC/XC) memory cards to store footage.

The operating temperature of the chamber is from 0°C to 40°C.
