Differences from its predecessor DC-GH5: no image stabilization system, 12 MP sensor instead of 22 MP, better shooting in low light conditions, better/faster autofocus. There is a slow motion function: Slow Motion (up to 240 fps).

Good low budget camera for filming

I can take the camera anywhere, it's weatherproof and has a great battery life. Perfectly captures poorly lit, high-contrast subjects. Much more shadow detail and almost no pixelation. The camera does not focus like past Panasonics, it can go out of focus from time to time, but will eventually focus smoothly. Image quality looks great at 6400 ISO and when using 12800 ISO. With this camera, you can 100% shoot a movie or high-quality videos for a vlog. Despite the small and compressed file sizes, it's amazing how amazing the color reproduction is. The file sizes are about 9 times smaller than the Blackmagic Prores files I've edited. With my Canon 24-105 lens, I am absolutely satisfied. Good camera.
