High performance AC1600 class dual band outdoor access point. Supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, has the ability to supply power using Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. Designed to deploy a Wi-Fi network in the summer area of a cafe or restaurant, in the yard of a private house or in a small park. The optimized housing design allows the MikroTik wAP ac access point to be operated at temperatures from -40 to +70 °C.

There is protection against rain, snow, fog and condensation. The device can also be installed indoors — on the wall or ceiling. The case has a special hole for hidden cable entry, so the cable is not visible and it will not affect the appearance of the interior. This model is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet LAN WAN port that supports PoE power supply (power supply with PoE injector included).

There are also five built-in omni-directional Wi-Fi antennas (2 2.4 GHz antennas in 2x2 MIMO mode + 3 5 GHz antennas in 3x3 MIMO mode). The cover of the device is locked with a non-standard screw, which protects the access point from unauthorized interference. Thanks to the use of the RouterOS operating system with a level 4 license, the user has access to many fine-tuning settings that are in demand by advanced IT specialists. The basis of the hardware configuration of the device is a MIPS-processor Qualcomm Atheros QCA9556 (720 MHz), working in conjunction with 64 MB of RAM.
