Dedicated client wireless access point with 802.11b/g/n support, narrow beam (7°) and good gain for long distance bridging. Ubiquiti differs from popular devices of a similar class from a competing company by its very affordable cost and the original design of the reflector dish. It has a cellular structure covered with a metal mesh and combined with an antenna-radio module unit fixed on three supports.

Thanks to the optimized radiation pattern, the MikroTik LHG 5 access point can operate in bridge mode at distances up to 8 km with support for a maximum throughput of up to 300 Mbps according to the 802.11n standard (two channels in a 2 × 2: 2 MIMO configuration). Communication is also possible over long distances (up to 15 km), but in this case a stable decrease in speed is inevitable. The design of the device is designed for outdoor installation, it is well thought out and has a high mechanical strength. Equipped with one Fast Ethernet port (up to 100 Mbps) supporting Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology.
