I bought it as the cheapest option for a Ryzen 7 2700, but it overheats to over 100 degrees during overclocking. At stock frequencies, it's slightly better, staying at 60 degrees (I attached a picture, this was after 15 minutes from turning it on). During rendering, it hits 95 degrees, and the CPU throttles. It's unclear how to work this way. Initially, I thought it was the thermal paste, but after purchasing Arctic MX-4, I realized it's not the problem. P.S. During CPU stress testing in rendering (95 C.), the radiator is cold, and it's unclear what to do about it. 3 spinners, pleasant-to-touch tubes no heat dissipation noise, fans at 70% speed, bulkiness |
On this dropsy I have a Ryzen 9 5900x 4.7 on all cores in a multi-thread. in NE20 I didn’t see more than 86 degrees C. Cheap, but it works. i haven't discovered it yet |
installed the three-fan ID-COOLING Frostflow X 360 on an AMD 3700X. Wanted to overclock the CPU, as the liquid cooling should be better than the stock cooler. Not the case... This model can't handle the CPU-Z stress test even without overclocking! After a minute and a half, the CPU temperature reached 106°C! A few seconds later, the CPU temperature reached 110°C, and the computer shut off. Even with the stock cooler, the temperature didn't reach 90°C during the same test. As a result, I realized that the pump speed of 2100 RPM is simply insufficient to circulate the necessary amount of coolant. There might be another issue, since I didn't disassemble this cooler; there could be a problem with the impeller shape or an airlock in the system. Type, three fans. Cannot cool even the 65W stated TDP of AMD 3700x without overclocking! |
