The mirrorless camera, stylized as a vintage rangefinder, hides cutting-edge “hardware” in a compact retro body. This is a 24 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor, an X-Processor Pro image processing chip, and a 325-point autofocus system — a set worthy of a middle-class camera that stands firmly on its feet. The sensitivity range of the camera matrix is 200-6400 ISO units. The main emphasis in camera control is placed on user interaction with the touch screen, which displays an updated menu interface Touch Functio.
Unfortunately, the display is not rotatable. Also, an electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels can be used for sighting during the shooting. But the model didn’t work out with the built-in flash, instead of it, the manufacturer prudently put a miniature external “puff” connected via a hot shoe in a box with a mirrorless camera. The camera can record videos in FullHD or 4K resolutions. Out of the box, the camera comes with a Fuji XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4.0 OIS kit lens.

A simplified version of Fujifilm's flagship X-T2 mirrorless camera, made to match the compact film rangefinder. This design is appreciated by many brand adherents, besides, in addition to the vintage style, the camera is notable for the presence of convenient mechanical settings.
Vintage style
For the sake of maintaining compactness, the built-in flash disappeared from the upper edge of the camera. You should not be upset about this, since the manufacturer provided a miniature external "puff" in the package. It is mounted on a hot shoe, which is accompanied by two scroll dials (shutter speed and exposure compensation) along with a shutter button. Also , the Fujifilm FinePix X-E3 got an OLED viewfinder — the camera's philosophy involves shooting while sighting through it. An alternative to the EVF is a 3-inch display — though fixed, but with support for touch input.
Advanced hardware
All the most interesting is hidden in the bowels of the camera body, in particular, >X-Trans CMOS III matrix of APS-C format with a resolution of 24 MP. The newly minted image sensor helps to get high-quality results when shooting in a wide variety of conditions, including at high ISO (up to 12800 units, which is the upper limit of the standard ISO range). The advanced sensor is complemented by a nimble and tenacious 325-point autofocus system, through which the camera is aimed at the target in a matter of fractions of a second. Thoughtful autofocus suffers only when shooting video, which has never been a strong point of Fuji mirrorless cameras. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the video recording support for shooting videos in 4K format.
Beneficial combination
For the first time among brothers on the assembly line, the camera has acquired an energy-efficient Bluetooth module. It allows you to bind photos to geolocation data received from a connected smartphone with minimal energy consumption, as well as transfer images reduced to 2 MP to a mobile gadget. In general, a mirrorless camera is both a powerful creative tool and a beautiful fashion device that combines retro style and the characteristics of an advanced modern camera in one bottle.
