Chieftec Atmos CPX-750FC
![]() | Outdated Product The high-performance 750W power supply unit from the advanced Chieftec Atmos series is designed in accordance with the Intel ATX 3.0 standard and supports PCIe 5.0. Thanks to the 80 PLUS Gold certification, the device provides up to 90% efficiency, thereby helping to reduce energy consumption and heat emission while maintaining high system performance. The ATMOS technical architecture uses modern topology (SRC Full-bridge converter and DC-to-DC conversion), and the circuitry is based on the use of Japanese capacitors, which guarantee durability and stability of the power supply even under heavy loads. The cooling of components is managed by a 120-mm fan with a hydrodynamic bearing, which ensures quiet system operation and high longevity. The ECO semi-passive cooling mode...allows the fan to be completely turned off under low loads, ensuring the power supply operates silently under minimal load conditions. The modular cable system allows for flexible device connection, simplifying component assembly and future PC upgrades. Additionally, the Chieftec Atmos CPX-850FC is equipped with a wide range of protective features, including Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Current Protection (OCP). The official manufacturer warranty is 5 years. |

Bought at the end of 2024 for this setup: Ryzen 7 7700 + RX6800XT (I chose this power supply to have some room for future system upgrades in a few years). I was happy with the previous 500 or 550W unit from this brand - no issues for 7-8 years of operation. I went through a lot of reviews, tests. Everything seemed fine. Worked in ECO mode - quietly, all good. But in January 2026, I heard a pop while gaming and everything went dark. Took the PC to repair - the power supply was dead =( And the warranty was only for a year... Quiet operation, modularity Worked for a year and one or two months |
Chose this power supply after watching a bunch of reviews. I was looking for one with a PCIe 5.0 (12VHPWR) connector. No complaints about its performance. It works quietly and there are no foreign noises. The only thing is that when turning it off, at the very end, there's a not-so-pleasant click, but it doesn't affect the performance. I've been using it for a year. Well-known brand, Japanese capacitors, eco mode available Without showing up |
