Closed-back wireless over-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and support for Qualcomm aptX and AAC codecs. They feature impeccable sound quality, a sturdy foldable design with swivel ear cups, and excellent battery life (40 hours without ANC and 25 hours with noise cancellation). Positioned as a product of the upper price category, focused on use with wireless and conventional Hi-Res audio sources.
Easily connect to any modern smartphones, tablets, laptops and portable game consoles. For wireless pairing, an energy-efficient bluetooth 4.1 interface is used. The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC700BT headphones are equipped with high-quality 40mm dynamic drivers with neodymium magnets, providing full reproduction of the extended frequency range (from 5 to 40,000 Hz). The relatively flat frequency response of this model guarantees a balanced and detailed sound of music tracks of any popular genres. Large soft ear cushions securely hold the headphones on the head, without causing discomfort during prolonged use. There is a possibility of cable analogue connection.

Meet Active Noise Cancellation
The Sound Reality line appeared at Audio-Technica just a couple of years ago. Little by little, these headphones, aimed, if you believe the name, at the most realistic sound reproduction, were overgrown with additional modifications and indexes. So the ATH-ANC700BT modification received not only a combined connection perfect for this format (Bluetooth is more convenient for the street, a cable for the house), but also the long-awaited active noise reduction. Given the price and the traditionally high quality of Audio-Technica sound, many hurried to write this model as a competitor to the unconditional hit Sony WH-1000XM3.
Audio-Technica Signature Analytical Sound
The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC700BT has 40mm drivers. The reproducible frequency range extends from 5 to 40,000 Hz. The Bluetooth 4.1 interface is used for wireless connection to the source. The earphones support AAC, aptX and SBC codecs and can play Hi-Res Audio signal via wired connection. Let's just say that the situation with the sound is a bit strange. The company's trademark sound has never been associated with powerful bass, like JBL or Koss. But the ATH-ANC700BT has very little bass when connected via Bluetooth. And on the wire ok. And this is strange, because usually these headphones are bought first of all to be carried on the street, and not to listen to the classics, sitting at home by the fireplace. And the ability to reproduce frequencies from 5 Hz suggests that there will be a lot of bass. Otherwise, the headphones play quite well, in the best traditions of the company: the sound is reliable and analytical, with good separation of instruments and no distortions in the frequency spectrum.
Comfortable fit on the head
On the head, the headphones sit quite tightly, providing good passive sound protection. At first it seems that they put too much pressure on the head, but you get used to them pretty quickly, after which you can safely wear them for 2-3 hours. At the same time, the ears do not sweat, the head does not get tired, and the crown does not rub. Five stars to the engineers of the company. It is also worth praising the good battery life, during tests with noise reduction and aptX turned on, the headphones lived for about 27 hours, which is even a little more than the manufacturer promised. But the touch panel to control the player is a quiet horror. Traditionally for Audio-Technica, all controls are concentrated on one cup and cleverly scattered under the fingers, but they have problems with sensitivity. Sometimes the pause button had to be tapped 3-4 times until it worked.
