Gamer's dream
AOC AGON AG272FCX6 is a 27-inch curved monitor with a bright and contrasty MVA matrix, 1920x1080 resolution and aimed at gamers. Benefits from the increased 165Hz refresh rate and reduced response time from 4ms hardware GtG to 1ms software MPRT. Only monitors based on a relatively dim TN matrix, like the AOC G2590PX, can boast of a hardware GtG response time of 1 ms.
Health and comfort
Plus, Flicker-Free technology eliminates backlight flicker and reduces eye fatigue. FreeSync synchronizes the screen refresh rate with FPS in games and eliminates image tearing. Shadow Control brightens dark areas of the map to better see enemies. And Low Blue Light reduces the intensity of blue light in the evening to make it easier to fall asleep. All of these settings can be controlled using the QuickSwitch remote control.
Frameless design
On three sides of the AGON AG272FCX6 screen, there are very narrow, almost imperceptible frames, which, coupled with the curvature of the 1800R screen, creates the effect of complete immersion in a game or movie. Adding to the atmosphere is the LED lighting on the bottom bezel and back of the monitor. The leg is adjustable in height and is equipped with a convenient handle for carrying the monitor, in case you have to move to another workplace. There is also a retractable headphone hook.
And the sound to boot
The AOC AGON AG272FCX6 has four video outputs: Display Port version 1.2, a couple of HDMI 2.0 and analogue VGA. The latter, however, does not support a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In the appendage there is a two-port USB 3.0 hub and stereo speakers with a total power of 6 watts. The only disadvantage of AGON AG272FCX6 is a relatively low pixel density — only 82 dpi. Those who want to get a smoother picture should also look at the 27-inch AOC AGON AG273QCX with QuadHD resolution (109 PPI).
