Powerful 512GB M.2 SSD with PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and controllable RGB LED. Made in the form of a frameless device, the dimensions of which fully comply with the M.2 2280 standard. It is equipped with a stylish aluminium heat spreader plate with the corporate logo of the A-Data XPG gaming series and two matte inserts, under which there are LED backlight elements. In addition to a spectacular appearance, this solution reduces the temperature of key components, ensuring the stability of the speed performance of the drive under heavy load. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for high-speed gaming systems and modding PCs. The A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB AS40G-512GT-C SSD delivers impressive I/O performance, high read/write speeds (3500/2400 Mbps) and minimal...latency. Such indicators are provided by a hardware platform based on the Realtek RTS5762 controller (NVMe v1.3). It supports high-performance LDPC error detection/correction technology and provides up to 28GB SLC write caching, which guarantees the drive's superior performance as a system drive in typical gaming usage scenarios.

Model overview based on user reviews
The A-Data XPG SPECTRIX S40G RGB SSD offers a visually appealing design with its beautiful RGB lighting. However, users have noted some performance issues, particularly with heat management. The SSD tends to heat up to 85 degrees, which significantly reduces the read/write speeds. The included radiator is described as a primitive aluminium plate and is not very efficient. In terms of capacity, the product offers a good capacity/price ratio, but the use of QLC memory in the 4TB version leads to a drastic speed drop to 150 Mb/s after the buffer is full. Overall, while the model is functional, it is considered nothing special and comparable to other models like the 8100, but with added backlighting.

I bought the Spectrix S40G RGB 512GB at Сomputeruniverse
The lighting is beautiful
It heats up to 85 degrees, the radiator is a primitive aluminium plate. When heated, the stated read/write speeds are reduced by 2 times.

normal model, nothing special

Essentially the same 8100 only with backlight. In 4 TB version 4 memory chips marked ADATA, obviously at the moment there is no 1 TB per TLC chip. For example, the Corsair MP510 has 8 chips for a 4 TB drive. TLC is declared there, everything is fair. And here 3D nand is declared on the off site, and that's it .. :)
Capacity/price. There is a buffer at which the declared speeds are achieved
QLC memory (at least in 4 TB version). After buffer overflow, the speed drops to 150 Mb/s. The radiator is not efficient and sham
