Powerful and affordable 256GB M.2 SSD with cutting-edge NVMe 1.3 (PCIe 3.0 x4) interface and eye-catching exterior design. Made in the popular M.2 2280 form factor, it is equipped with a stylish heat spreader that reduces the temperature of key components by 10 °C, which ensures the stability of the device during long and severe loads. Positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for regular and gaming personal computers, can be used as part of entry-level workstations. It features high I/O performance (180000/190000 IOPS), impressive read/write speed (2100/1200 Mbps) and low latency when accessing an arbitrary data block. The A-Data XPG GAMMIX S5 M.2 AGAMMIXS5-256GT-C SSD is based on a combination of a high-performance Realtek RTS5763DL controller with high-quality 64-la...yer TLC 3D NAND flash memory. For full-fledged operation of the device, a motherboard with an M.2 connector that supports the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface is required. The drive provides SLC write caching up to 8 GB, which guarantees excellent performance as a system disk and when loading / installing games. A guaranteed write resource (TBW) of 150 TB is claimed, which is enough for long-term use for many years.

You can take it if you only have 4-5k rub.

The SSD is good, not a single problem in 2 years. However, I think this SSD is suitable only for those with a very limited budget and no built-in cooling for M.2 on the motherboard. In other cases, it's better to get a faster SSD by paying an extra 2 t.r.
1. Works for 2 years without speed drops. Stable.
2. High quality product. Everything is made reliably and solidly.
1. The heat spreader is not removable, as far as I understand. Therefore, you cannot install it on a motherboard with cooling provided for the SSD.
2. Operating speed. There are currently faster SSDs available at approximately the same price.

Take for games

I sat on a simple HDD for quite a long time, but then finally upgraded my PC and the sensations from using an M.2 are indescribable. It's like riding a scooter and then switching to an airplane. Games load in seconds, and locations even faster. Definitely recommend.

Good SSD
Quick, relatively inexpensive, doesn't heat up (unless you're transferring gigabytes of data back and forth just for fun or testing)
The kit doesn't include the damn screws to install it, seriously. So before you buy it, dig out your dusty motherboard box and find a small screw that's probably lying around there. I couldn't do this because my box is in another country, so I had to make do with makeshift solutions aka DIY. Didn't expect such a problem from the A-Data brand.
